La Maque PD Make Arrest in Murder
La Marque PD arrested a man they believe committed a murder on Thursday, Aug. 18.
LA MARQUE, TX — James Daniels Jr., 22, was arrested for murder. La Marque police believe he beat and shot Ricky Steele, 56, on Thursday, Aug. 18.
Although the motive for the killing isn't completely clear, Steele allegedly owed Daniels some money. Daniels is being held in the Harris County Jail on a murder charge, his bond is set at $150,000.
