Lone Star College System to Host Local Candidates Through October
Voters who don't know the candidates in their districts can hear from them before they go to the polls on Nov. 8.

HOUSTON, TX – Lone Star College will host a series of candidate forums leading up to the November election.
The forums will feature candidates running for local, state and national offices and will take place at all six LSC campus locations.
“There is obviously a lot of attention being paid to this year’s presidential election, but local elections can have a huge impact on our community,” said Dr. John Theis, LSC-Center for Civic Engagement director. “This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear directly from candidates on where they stand on the issues.”
