Memorial Day: What's Closed And What's Open

All federal, county and city offices will be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday

HOUSTON, TX — As expected, federal, state, county and city offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Essential services such as police, fire and ambulance services will be available, and hospitals will operate as normal.

The following offices will be closed on Monday:

  • All local, state, and federal courts
  • US Post Offices
  • Banks
  • All locao schools and school districts

Non-essential services will be closed or unavaible Monday and will resume on Tuesday.
