Murdered Armored-Car Guard Identified
An armored-car guard killed in an ambush on Monday, Aug. 29, has been identified.

HOUSTON,TX — David Guzman, 25, and his partner were making the rounds on Monday. At about 6 p.m., they pulled their Brinks truck into the Wells Fargo at 290 and Hollister.
Guzman got out of the truck to refill one of the drive through ATMS, he had the machine open and was just starting to load in the cash when he got hit.
Since Brinks runs their trucks as a two-man operation, Guzman's partner stayed in the truck with the rest of the money and wasn't hurt.

Because the attack happened in the middle of rush hour, police say there were plenty of witnesses. There just aren't any suspects right now.
The cops are pulling every security camera they can find that might have a few of the motor bank lanes.
So far neither HPD or the feds have released a description of the suspects in the shooting. Surprisingly, no money was stolen in the ambush.
Guzman was the third money truck guard to be gunned down in Houston in 18 months.
