Nassau Bay and Seabrook Certified Film Friendly

Nassau Bay and Seabrook were certified as film friendly cities by the Governor's Office.

Clear Lake, TX -- The Texas Film Commission recently certified Nassau Bay and Seabrook as Film Friendly Communities. The Texas Film Commission is an arm of the Texas Governor's Office Economic Development and Tourism division.

To obtain the film friendly certification both cities had marketing staff attend a workshop which focused on the production process and how to develop and/or improve city filming policies. Each city had to then create an ordinance or policy which was approved by their respective city councils.

The Film Friendly Texas (FFTX) program provides training and ongoing guidance to cities statewide on how to effectively market their communities as filming destinations and how to efficiently accommodate on-location filming activity.
