Police Search For Duo Who Committed 6 Robberies Overnight

Investigators believe the two men who robbed a fireworks stand Thursday morning also robbed 5 convenience stores overnight.

CHANNELVIEW, TX -- Harris County Sheriff's investigators have connected the dots after a pair of gun-wielding men robbed a fireworks stand early Thursday, and determined they'd also robbed several other locations in the span of a few hours.

Investigators said that two young black men robbed five convenience stores and the Texas Outlaw Fireworks located at Barbara Mae Street and Alderson Street in Cloverleaf, all in the span of just six hours.

Their crime spree ended at about 5:30 a.m. at a Valero station on Woodforest Boulevard near the Beltway, according to a KTRK report.

One of the robbers was carrying a backpack and wore a black sweatshirt and a white baseball cap, while the other wore a white sweatshirt, a black hat and a black bandanna covering his face.
