Rainbow Lodge Introduces Rescue Menu To Benefit Houston Food Bank

Houston Food Bank is the nation’s largest food bank, helping provide food for better lives in Greater Houston and 18 counties in southeast Texas. Demand for food assistance increased greatly due to COVID and, most recently, winter storm Uri. To help raise much-needed funds to provide food for neighbors in need, Rainbow Lodge is offering a special Rescue Menu that will make a donation to Houston Food Bank for each one sold.

The Food Bank Rescue Menu is a special three-course menu with wine for one person, available in-house and to-go from March 1-31, 2021, for $75. With each meal sold, Rainbow Lodge will donate $5 to the Houston Food Bank. For each $1 donated to Houston Food Bank, they can provide three meals, so each donation from purchase of Rainbow Lodge’s Rescue menu provide 15 meals at a time when they are needed most!

To Start:
FRIED TEXAS QUAIL BITES
white cheddar grits and bourbon bacon gravy

Entrée Choices:
PAN-SEARED SNAPPER
English pea and carrot risotto with carrot top pesto

GRILLED 10-OZ BISON RIBEYE
crispy crushed fingerling potatoes with black truffle and Parmesan, charred rapini

Dessert Choices:
CROISSANT BREAD PUDDING
whiskey sauce and vanilla ice cream
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TORTE
toasted marshmallows and pear caramel

Includes 1 half bottle of wine, choice of red or white
