Second Man Convicted of Selling Bogus Boner Pills
A second man was convicted for selling fake erection dysfunction medication.
HOUSTON, TX — Victor Lamar Coates probably never thought he'd be a farmacia trafficante. That is until he conspired with Martez Gurley, 41, of Napa, CA, to illegally import fake Viagra and Cialis from China.
Gurley and Coates, 47, from Philadelphia, PA, also sold the bogus boner pills across state lines. The duo hawked more than 10,000 doses of the counterfeit meds.
Both Coates and Gurley pleaded guilty to charges related to conspiracy and trafficking, and both are scheduled for sentencing in November. Each are facing up to five years in club fed for the conspiracy charges and another three for trafficking.
