Texas Officer Wears Jason Voorhees' Hockey Mask On Patrol
Even police officers are getting in the holiday spirit.
FULSHEAR, TX -- The Fulshear Police Department's unofficial motto this Halloween is "Protect, serve, and scare." An officer with the department donned Jason Voorhees' iconic hockey mask Wednesday in an effort to spread some holiday cheer. Voorhees is the main character from the "Friday the 13th" series which includes 12 films dating back to 1980.
"There are those who celebrate Halloween and those who do not. Then there is Sergeant Thurman," Fulshear's police department wrote on Facebook Tuesday.
