Thanksgiving Grocery Stores Open And Closed

HOUSTON, TX — We've all been there Thanksgiving morning; the oven is warm, the kitchen is toasty and the turkey is stuffed. You turn to the potatoes and it hits you—you forgot the gravy.

Don't fret; you're not alone. Few things unify Americans these days, but one is the overwhelming feeling of dread when you forget a key ingredient for that perfect Thanksgiving feast. For some people it'll be cranberry sauce. For others, it'll be bread rolls.

Fortunately, many grocery stores will remain open on "Turkey Day," at least for a little while. Check out the stores and their hours below.

Stores That Will Open On Thanksgiving
Acme Markets: Most will open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Albertson's: Most will open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cub Foods: Many are open 24/7.
Fairway Market: Most will open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Food Lion: All stores open regular hours.
The Fresh Market: All stores open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hannaford: Some will open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Kroger: Most will open around 6 a.m. and close around midnight.
Harris Teeter: All stores open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
H-E-B: All stores open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hy-Vee: Some stores close at 2 p.m.
Kroger: Many stores open 24 hours. Some stores open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ralphs: Most stores open 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Rite Aid: Most stores open. Call for hours.
Safeway: All stores open. Hours vary.
Save Mart: Stores will open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shaw's: Many will stay open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
ShopRite: Many open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sprouts Farmers Market: All stores open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Stop & Shop: Stores will close at 5 p.m.
Target: All stores open 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Vons: Many will open from 6 a.m. to midnight
Walmart: Stores will open at 6 p.m.
Wegmans: Most stores open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Whole Foods: Many will open at 7 a.m. Some will close as early as 2 p.m.
Winn-Dixie: Many stores will open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
