Arrest Made In Irving Murder Of Two Teens
Police say one teen suspect died at the scene. Another suspect died later at a hospital, and a third escaped uninjured.

IRVING, TX — A 31-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged with Murder for his alleged involvement in a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left two teenagers dead in Irving.
Police said Ishmael Smithson, 18, and Theophilos Greer, 19, along with another unnamed suspect, intended to rob the accused at gunpoint at his apartment in the 4200 block of Clubhouse Place.
When the suspects attempted to rob Jarrell Ivory Chaney, he disarmed them, police said. The teens then fled on foot.

Chaney is accused of shooting toward the suspects as they fled, striking two.
Smithson died at the scene, and Greer was later pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital. The third suspect, a juvenile, was uninjured.

Chaney was interviewed and arrested on a charge of Murder. He is held on $1 million bond.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
