Man Shoots Boss, Flees To Louisiana, Police Say
The suspect turned himself in to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office near New Orleans.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX — One man now sits in Lew Sterrett jail after turning himself in for the July 4th shooting and that killed boss. When the U.S. Marshals finally caught up to the 56-year-old suspect, he was found in Jefferson Parish in Louisiana.
Police said Carlos Aparicio, 57, was found unconscious and wounded on July 4 in the 200 block of Gilbert Circle. He was rushed to a hospital in Irving, where he was pronounced dead.
Days later, Jimmie Reynolds entered the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office near New Orleans, Louisiana, and confessed to the murder, police said. Reynolds fled to Jefferson Parish to stay with relatives after the incident.

Police said Reynolds had worked for Aparicio for years at his construction trucking company in the 200 block of Gilbert Circle.
Oh July 4, an argument broke out and Reynolds fired a shot at Aparicio, police said. Reynolds will be extradited to Dallas County, where he will be charged with murder.
