Las Colinas Traffic Alert: Irving Marathon on Saturday, March 27

The Irving Marathonhits the streets of Las Colinas and the Lake Carolyn Promenade on Saturday, March 13. Approximately 600 runners are expected meet at the Toyota Music Factory, 316 West Las Colinas Blvd., and spread out to their respective courses when the event begins at 8 a.m. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mask recommendations will be enforced among participants when social distancing is not possible.

Motorists should expect traffic stoppages along the race route of up to 15 minutes, through 2:30 p.m. March 27, including these streets, areas and main intersections:

• Las Colinas Boulevard, from the La Villita Boulevard to O'Connor Boulevard.
• O’Connor Boulevard, from Las Colinas Boulevard to Williams Square Drive.
• Lake Carolyn Promenade.
• Brune Way, from Lake Carolyn Promenade to Las Colinas Boulevard.
• La Villita Boulevard, from Las Colinas Boulevard to Riverside Drive.
• Riverside Drive, from La Villita Boulevard to Northwest Highway.
