The store clerk was treated at a nearby hospital and later released, police said. The suspects remain at large.

IRVING, TX — Police in Irving are looking for two men they allege entered a store in the 7200 block of N. MacArthur Boulevard and sprayed a clerk with bear spray before making off with cash from a Bitcoin machine.

James McLellan, Irving Police Department's spokesman, told Patch the men are suspected of robbing the store around 10:00 p.m. on March 22. They can be seen in security footage spraying the store clerk with bear spray, a powerful form of pepper spray, before heading to the back of the store where the Bitcoin machine was located.

The Bitcoin machine is similar to an ATM, McLellan said, and contained an undisclosed sum of cash at the time of the break in.
