Office Depot Adds Workonomy Hub Coworking Space to Irving Store

Office Depot, Inc., a leading B2B integrated distribution company providing business services and supplies, products and technology solutions, is pleased to announce that the company will open a new Workonomy Hub coworking space located in the Office Depot store at 1000 W. Airport Freeway in Irving on Tuesday, May 7.

This new Workonomy Hub marks one of just three coworking spaces within Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores nationwide. From private offices and conference rooms to dedicated desks and daily drop-ins, there are a variety of shared workspaces and membership plans designed to meet any work style. Customers can enjoy access to mailing, shipping, marketing, printing, concierge services, tech support and more in a professional work environment, ideal for taking meetings with clients and business partners.

At the grand opening event on May 7th, representatives from Alibaba.com, one of the world’s largest B2B trading platforms, will be on site to offer small business customers onboarding and service support for sourcing and selling on the alibaba.com platform. Office Depot announced a collaboration with the global marketplace leader earlier this year with the launch of a cobranded online destination, officedepot.com/alibaba.

Customers who attend the grand opening celebration on Tuesday, May 7 will also have the chance to win a free 90-day Workonomy Hub membership (no purchase necessary), tour the new coworking space, mix and mingle with local businesses and sample food and beverages from Sushi Axiom, Jason’s Deli and more.

Irving’s Deputy Mayor, Oscar Ward, is scheduled to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony with leaders from the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at noon.
