Although her initial degree was in education, Bailey went on to study visual media at The American University, which spring-boarded her career as a video producer and scriptwriter. She has also reported for the Greenbelt News Review and the Journal Newspapers. Her hobbies include reading the classics, hiking, photography and writing bad science fiction.
