I grew up in Waterloo/Cedar Falls Iowa and studied journalism at Iowa State here in Ames.

I worked for daily newspapers as a reporter for the Fort Dodge Messenger and the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier before moving to South Carolina in 2006.

I was a staff writer for the Charleston Post & Courier in Charleston, SC  until June 2011, when I took a job with Patch and returned to Iowa.

King Said No Republican Disagrees with His Stance on Immigration

King drew some criticism when he said: “they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.” about residents living in the U.S. illegally. King said no one will publicly disagree with him.
