<b>Bio:</b> Julianna Crisalli has written breaking news, personality and business profiles, and features. She served as managing editor of her college newspaper, and before that, editor of her high school paper. Julianna had an internship at the Bakersfield Californian in Bakersfield, CA and worked as a full-time reporter for the Tehachapi News in Tehachapi, CA, her hometown weekly newspaper.
Julianna grew up in the newsroom. With her father the publisher of the local newspaper, her brother in advertising for the publication and her mother a writer, ink runs in her veins.
When she's not working, Julianna enjoys playing with her daughter, taking trips to the ocean and defeating her husband at iPhone games.

<b>Local Hot-Button Issues</b><br>What do you think are the most important issues facing the community?
Among the hot-button issues are the fight to preserve the development standards set by the city. Safety is another priority for Aliso Viejo, which has continually been ranked one of the safest cities in Orange County.
Where do you stand on each of these issues?
I was attracted to Aliso Viejo because of its safety record and its appealing layout. These issues are important to me as well.
