Freehold Borough to Hold Town-wide Cleanup
All residents are asked to get rid of junk and make the borough sparkle for the annual Memorial Day Parade

Noel Aliseo was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. She attended Monsignor Donovan High School and then went on to pursue a journalism degree at Syracuse University. While at SU, Noel was on the sidelines supporting the Orange as a cheerleader. She also worked for the college Spanish news station and gained lots of experience interning for CBS in New York City and WSYR-TV, an ABC affiliate in Syracuse, New York.
Noel graduated Magna Cum Lade in May 2010 with a degree in broadcast journalism and Spanish. In November of 2010, she moved to Rumson where she was the Local Editor for the Rumson-Fair Haven Patch. In February of 2012, Noel was offered an opportunity to cover the Freehold Patch.
A true Jersey girl, Noel likes to spend her summers on the beach with friends and family. She enjoys good food and getting to know new people. She also loves to travel and experience different cultures and cuisine.
At Patch, we promise always to approach the news as objectively as possible and adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable.

Politics
I am not registered with any party because I do not completely agree with one side. For me, the best part of politics is being able to hear both sides and then deciding what I believe.

My father raised me Catholic and my mother is non-denominational. I consider myself somewhere in between.
Local Hot-Button Issues
As a fresh set of eyes and ears in the community, I look forward to learning about all of the "hot-button issues".
