I discovered a passion for journalism at an early age. After seeing "Harriet the Spy," I realized her tendency to write everything down and study people could only lead to journalism.
A graduate of the University of Missouri with degrees in Photojournalism and Political Science, I was a staff reporter and photographer for the Columbia Missourian, worked abroad for MSN UK and interned for the Daily News in New York City.
A firm believer in objective journalism, I'll make it my mission to report the truth and represent people and events accurately.
When I'm not running around Lincoln Square, I like to spend time with family and friends, plans trips to random places, exercise and cook like a fiend.
Cardinals fan, bookworm, and a lover of hot wings and other fine foods, I truly enjoy my life as a journalist and fun enthusiast.
The Basics:
Full Name: Sarah Jean Flagg
Hometown: Festus, MO
Birthday: Sept. 2
Favorite Music: Queen. All day. Everyday.
Political Beliefs: Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. I believe people have the right to live their own lives when it comes to gay marriage and abortion. However, I also think the money earned should be yours, with as little tax and government interference as possible.
