• Clarke County Honors Heroes in Daring House Fire Rescue (thewinchestergazette.com) — Berryville residents Harley Reed and Michael Freeman have been officially honored by the Clarke County Board of Supervisors for rescuing an elderly neighbor from a burning home on Wickliffe Road last month. The board’s resolution, approved Tuesday, credits their quick thinking and courage with saving her life and was shared on the county’s Facebook page to recognize their heroism community-wide.
