• Northampton Board asks VDOT to lower speed limit on 13 around Cape Charles and Bayside Road by ESAAA (shoredailynews.com) — Drivers on Route 13 by Cape Charles could soon see lower speed limits as Northampton supervisors unanimously asked VDOT to slow traffic through the busy corridor near Stone Road, Food Lion, and Tower Hill. The board also requested a 25 mph school-zone limit on Bayside Road by the ESAAA/Head Start facility in Exmore, citing safety for seniors, preschoolers, and other vulnerable road users.
