• Shots Fired in Dumfries: No Injuries or Damage (potomaclocal.com) — Police are investigating a reported gunshot after a homeowner confronted a suspected thief late December 9 on Wexford Loop in Dumfries, where car keys were taken but no injuries or damage occurred. Officers found no weapon or physical evidence of a shooting, and the suspect fled on foot. Anyone with information is urged to contact Prince William County police.
