• Rutherford, Brenda G. (nrvnews.com) — Elliston neighbors are mourning the passing of 73-year-old resident Brenda G. Rutherford, who died on Sunday, December 7. Her children, sister, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren survive her. Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, followed by burial at Belmont Community Cemetery.
