18-Year-Old Arrested at Fairfax High School for Alleged Rape of 12-Year-Old Girl

An 18-year-old man from Fairfax has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Juan Orellana Cruz was arrested and charged on Friday, June 3 for allegedly having "inappropriate sexual relations" with a 12-year-old girl on at least two occasions.
The incidents were reported to Fairfax County school administrators on May 13.

Fairfax County police said Cruz is being charged with rape of a child less than 13 years old. He was arrested at Fairfax High School in Fairfax City on June 3 and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
Police said investigating detectives and the Victims Services department are working with the victim and her family to provide care and assistance.
