Clifton Restaurant Wins 2020 RAMMY Award
Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington recognized several Virginia restaurants in the annual RAMMY Awards ceremony.
WASHINGTON, DC — Several restaurants from Northern Virginia were among the winners at the 2020 RAMMY Awards, which recognize exceptional ability and accomplishments of restaurants and the foodservice community in the D.C. region. The awards are sponsored by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).
Broadcast live from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Sunday night, this is the first time the awards were conducted virtually. Winners in four categories — Favorite Gathering Place, Upscale Brunch, Casual Brunch and Favorite Fast Bites — were chosen by the public. An anonymous panel of judges made up of food and dining journalists, educators, and foodservice industry professionals, chose the remaining winners, according to a RAMW release.
Trummer's of Clifton won the top award in the Upscale Brunch of the Year category. Along with an excellent brunch, Trummer's is hosting its annual Trummerfest Party on Sunday, Oct. 4.
