COVID-19 Vaccinations Available To GMU Students, Faculty, Staff
George Mason University is making COVID-19 vaccination appointments available this Friday to students, faculty, and staff.

FAIRFAX, VA — George Mason University students, faculty, staff, and contractors, as well as their families and friends, can sign up for their first free dose of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.
Adults 16 and older can sign up online to make a vaccination appointment. Patients ages 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Unaccompanied minors will be turned away.
GMU plans to administer doses throughout Friday at its clinic, which is located at EagleBank Arena at 4500 Patriot Circle in Fairfax. Although appointments were initially available at the GMU clinic from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., on Friday, many of the early morning and later afternoon slots were already reserved by 2 p.m., on Thursday. However, there were still plenty of appointments available from 8:45 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 is a two-dose series, with the doses being administered 21 days apart. People who sign up to receive their first dose at GMU's clinic on Friday will be able to schedule their second appointment.
