Dunkin' Honors Nurses With 80 Dozen Donuts In Fairfax, Loudoun
Dunkin' delivered 80 dozen donuts to Inova Fair Oaks and Inova Loudoun hospitals Wednesday in honor of National Nurses Day.

NORTHERN VIRGINIA — A Northern Virginia Dunkin' franchisee group, Vigario Management Corp., delivered 80 dozen donuts to the hospital staff at Inova Fair Oaks and Inova Loudoun hospitals on Wednesday in honor of National Nurses Day. Vigario Management Corporation owns and operates 16 Dunkin' restaurants in the area.
National Nurses Day is held annually on May 6 to raise awareness of the vital role nurses play in society. The day is also the first day of National Nurses Week.
Throughout the remainder of National Nurses Day, Dunkin’ locations in D.C. and Northern Virginia are honoring health care workers by offering a free medium hot or iced coffee and a free donut — no purchase necessary — to all health care workers who visit a Dunkin’ restaurant. The offer excludes Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew.

Dunkin’ restaurants in the D.C. area and across the country are limiting service to drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and curbside pick-up at select locations. Customers can order and pay using the Dunkin’ app for a less-contact purchase.

Also on Wednesday, nurses and other hospital staff in Arlington received a nice gift. Pacers Running dropped off 160 shoes at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. The athletic shoe store is partnering with Potomac River Running Store and ON Shoes, a Switzerland-based running shoe brand, to donate 5,000 shoes to front-line workers in the Washington, D.C. area.
