Emergency Preparedness Event Saturday In Fairfax
The first-ever Preparedness Awareness Weekend is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Providence Community Center in Fairfax.

FAIRFAX, VA — Nothing says preparedness awareness like. . .face painting? Anyway, that's one of the lures for the first-ever Preparedness Awareness Weekend set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Providence Community Center, 3001 Vaden Drive.
PAW, staged by the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management, is designed to "help families increase their resiliency by providing step-by-step methods to develop their emergency preparedness plans and kits." - Red Cross- CPR Demonstrations
- Fairfax County Office for Children- learn what questions you should ask your caregiver

- Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office will do child ID’s
