Fair Oaks Mall Reopens Friday With Health And Safety Measures
The Fair Oaks Mall announced it will reopen to the public this Friday, with guidelines in place to help keep customers safe.
FAIRFAX, VA – The Fair Oaks Mall announced it will reopen to the public this Friday, with guidelines in place to help keep customers safe during the coronavirus outbreak.
The mall will reopen at 11 a.m. on Friday and will have a reduced daily schedule. Preliminary malls hours are Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The mall will be cleaned and disinfected through the day and after hours with a focus on high-touch and high-traffic areas.

Customers will be encouraged to use masks during their trip to the mall and will be reminded by signage to maintain proper social distancing and follow CDC guidelines such as hand washing.
In addition, hand sanitizers will be installed at all mall entrances and restrooms, children play areas will be closed, drinking fountains will be turned off and furniture will be spaced appropriately.

All mall employees will wear masks while working and mall walkers will be allowed to walk an hour before the mall opens to the public, at. 10 a.m.
