Fairfax City New Year's Eve Events: 2019 Guide

The Auld Shebeen's New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball: 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. on Jan. 1
This year's ball will feature a photo booth and props so you can take home your memories of the night, as well as share them with your friends on social media. Tickets will be $25 and can be purchased in house or via Eventbrite. Tickets include entry, one drink ticket, a champagne toast, party favors, and masks (in case you forget yours at home), and photo booth photos. DJ Mills will be spinning all of your favorite dance jams all night long. The Auld Shebeen is located at 3971 Chain Bridge Rd. in Fairfax City.

Get'n Ornery for New Year's Eve: 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1
Join the New Year's Eve party at the Ornery Beer Company - Public House in Fairfax City. DJ jamming your favorite party music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dinner and appetizer buffet from 8 p.m. to midnight with all your favorite appetizers, nacho bar, jambalaya pasta, brewhouse chicken, ham and turkey carving station, flatbreads, and all the sides. There will be a champagne toast at midnight and party favors for all. $10 tickes for midnight toast and party favors. $30 ticket for midnight toast, dinner buffet and party favors. Fairfax Four Miler: 6 p.m. on Dec. 31
End the year with an invigorating twilight run. The City of Fairfax hosts an annual family-friendly running event on Dec. 31. The four-mile race through Old Town Fairfax is an all-ages event and starts at 6 p.m. Registration starts at $43. Participants enjoy a post-race pizza party and get a cozy sweatshirt. Register early to guarantee you'll receive a sweatshirt. The starting line for the race is outside Old Town Hall at 3999 University Dr.

International New Year's Eve Celebration Gala: 8:30 p.m.-3 a.m. on Dec. 31 to Jan. 1
Join Inner Caucus, WHUR 96.3FM and Carifiesta for their annual New Year's Eve gala. With your ticket is complimentary hors d'oeuvres before 11 p.m., champagne and party favors until midnight. Vola's New Year's Eve ICE Party: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. on Dec. 31 to Jan. 1
The dockside patio will transform into a party venue for New Year's Eve. Enjoy a raw oyster bar, appetizers, desserts, beer wine and cocktails, champagne toast, DJ and dancing, and midnight fireworks over the waterfront. This event is ages 21 and up. Masquerade Rumba at Inca Social: 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. on Jan. 1
Celebrate New Year's Eve with a masquerade rumba at Inca Social. Enjoy drink specials plus a complimentary champagne toast at midnight with your friends and family. DJs start at 8 p.m. and every guest will receive a masquerade mask plus more New Year's goodies as well as a champagne toast and a complimentary drink with your ticket. Its New Years with the Legwarmers: Doors open at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31
Ring in the new year with northern Virginia's premier 80's tribute band at the State Theatre in Falls Church. The big hair. The lacy ankle socks. And the music. The Legwarmers will make you remember each and every hit. Doors open at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 and showtime is 9:30 p.m. Buffet food will be available between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are still available. The State Theatre is located at 220 N Washington St. in Falls Church.

New Years Eve 80's Dance Party at Jammin Java — Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 31
Do you love the 80's? Then put on your dance shoes and your best 80's fashion to ring in 2020 with DJ Darin. Prizes for cool 80's outfits and name that tune. This is an all ages show. Champagne toast at midnight. Jammin Java is located at 227 Maple Ave E. in Vienna. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets range between $30 and $40.
