Fairfax Nursing Home Residents Reunite with Families!
The residents at the Fairfax Rehab. and Nursing Center had a heart warming reunion with their families for the first time in months
Residents at the Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center were finally able to visit with their families for the first time since October 2020 when visits had to be stopped due to the rise in COVID cases in the community. Residents fully vaccinated were able to be embraced by their family for the first time in over a year!
Those negative with Covid but not fully vaccinated saw their family, too, from a distance through plexiglass.
There were a lot of happy tears, and although everyone was masked, you can see the smiles through them from the families and residents! The residents and staff hope to continue these visits and can't wait until the doors are back open completely for visitors.
