Fairfax Ruby Tuesday Worker Arrested for Using Customer's Credit Card

An employee at a Ruby Tuesday's restaurant in Fairfax faces a $1,000 bond after reportedly using a customer's credit card.

A Ruby Tuesday restaurant employee in Fairfax was arrested Thursday after reportedly using a customer’s forgotten credit card to make unauthorized purchases.

On Sept. 25, the victim reportedly believed his credit card had been used to make unauthorized purchases after inadvertently leaving it at a Ruby Tuesday restaurant at 9444 Fairfax Boulevard Sept. 5.

Following an investigation by the Patrol Division, the suspect was identified as a restaurant employee.

Joseph Sim, 19, of Fairfax, was taken into custody at the restaurant and transported to the Fairfax Adult Detention Center. He was charged with credit card theft and faces a $1,000 bond.
