Fairfax Wins 6A North Region Field Hockey Championship
Rebels beat Langley 1-0, will next travel to Virginia Beach for Friday's state semifinals.
FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax won the 6A North Region field hockey championship Thursday with a 1-0 win over Langley.
The unbeaten Rebels improved to 23-0 and won their second region title in three years.
Emily Deivert's score early in the encounter was enough to hold off the Saxons (16-7).
