Fall for Fairfax KidsFest Open This Weekend
Attendance and parking at Fall for Fairfax KidsFest are free.

The Fall for Fair KidFest will be held as planned, according to an announcement by event organizer, Celebrate Fairfax, Inc.
The free event boasts a full kids carnival, two stages with family entertainment, and fall themed attractions, such as, pumpkin decorating and scarecrow making.

Fairfax Kidsfest will be held on October 3rd from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday October 4th, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the Fairfax County Government Center.
With threats of Hurricane Joaquin looming, CFI President Barry Feil sent out a release saying that so far the festival will be held as planned.

“We take very seriously the safety of all of our guests and participants, and share the great concern about Hurricane Joaquin,” stated Feil. “Provided it is safe to be open, our organization intends to provide a high quality program option for families this weekend.”
“Latest forecasts, while not definitive, give us reason to believe that there will be times of good weather,” he added.
