FAIRFAX, VA—There's plenty to do Memorial Day Weekend. Whether you're attending the Strawberry Jubilee, treating your pooch to Pups in the Park, or watching the National Memorial Day Parade, you should check out what's open and closed in the area.

And if you're taking the Metro on Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27, you should plan accordingly.

On Memorial Day, Metro will run on a Sunday schedule, opening from 8 a.m. and closing at 11 p.m. Fares will be off-peak and parking will be free at all Metrorail parking facilities.
