Mother's Day Weather in Northern Virginia: Not Bad
The Mother's Day weather forecast for Northern Virginia sees a change, according to the National Weather Service branch in Sterling.

STERLING, VA — Forget the past several days of rain, much of it of the drenching variety. Just in time for Mother's Day, Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with only a slight chance of showers after 3 p.m. That's the word from the National Weather Service's satellite branch in Sterling.
The clearing is expected begin tonight, albeit with a 20 percent chance of rain. Mother's Day, however, will serve up temperatures in the mid-70s with the aforementioned mostly sunny sky. Even so, it probably will be a bit on the windy side.
