Northern Virginia Weather: Crisp Work Week Ahead
Northern Virginia's weather forecast for the truncated work week might have some considering a change in wardrobe: National Weather Service.

STERLING, VA — Despite a one-day showers parade in the middle of the short work week, weather conditions in the Northern Virginia area following the unofficial final day of summer will take a decided dip in something of a fall preview. Expect lows in the 50s at night, and highs struggling to reach 70 during the day.
That's the word from the National Weather Service area outlet in Sterling, which expects showers to arrive Tuesday night before clearing out early the following evening. Toss out Wednesday, and the work week is expected to have ample sunshine. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts.
