Northern Virginia Weather: Here's To A Spiffy Work Week
The upcoming work week (yes, some of us aren't on vacation) looks downright spiffy according to the National Weather Service.
STERLING, VA — For those of you arriving back home from vacation and preparing to get back into the usual routine, the upcoming work week in Northern Virginia, weather-wise, anyway, is expected to be a relatively stress-free stretch. That's the word from the National Weather Service outpost in Sterling. Temperatures will continue to hang out with the 90 degrees gang but chances of rain are, for the most part, slight.
Not until mid-week will considerable cloudiness enter the picture, but that'll largely be reserved for the evening hours. And for something to look forward to, Saturday is expected to be sunny with highs in the mid 80s. Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind around 6 mph.
Tuesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 95. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
