Northern Virginia Weather: Work Week Smiles
Throw out one not-so-great day and the upcoming work week weather for Northern Virginia should prompt smiles: National Weather Service.
STERLING, VA — Aside from one day of mostly cloudy conditions, the work week in the Northern Virginia area is expected to be downright delightful. We're talking about a lot of sunshine, moderate daytime temperatures and pleasantly cool evenings — that, and the ever-present threat of afternoon thunderstorms. That's the word from the National Weather Service outpost in Sterling.
The one expected downer is Wednesday, which should offer lots of clouds along with showers and thunderstorms. But that's also when low temperatures are expected to drop into the 60s. Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:
