&pizza opens in Gaitherburg on Tuesday

&pizza, the local pizza shop known for their gourmet handmade pies, inventive flavor combinations, localized store design, and dedication to the Washington-area community will open its third Montgomery County, Maryland location Tuesday, February 3, in the Downtown Crown development in Gaithersburg. This is the brand’s ninth location in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

&pizza Gaithersburg pays homage to the site’s heritage as part of Crown Farm, the 180-acre farm established in the early 1800’s. The shop’s centerpiece is a 26-person reclaimed wood farm table. Lined with black spindle-back chairs, the table is designed to bring guests together for a shared experience, one of the core goals of the brand. In the spirit of great American farmhouses, the shop will feature reclaimed wood, corrugated metal—designed as abstract representation of tractor tire tracks—and barn door hardware in the restrooms.
