Power Bill Scam Hits Local Restaurant
Police are seeking a subject who reportedly obtained money cards on false pretenses from Pho Capital Restaurant on Main Street in Fairfax.

An employee at Pho Capital Restaurant on Main Street told police Friday he received a telephone call from a male subject claiming to be a power company representative.
The subject stated that the restaurant was behind on its payments and electricity would be cut off unless immediate payment was made by obtaining money cards and calling back with the numbers.
The victim complied and was then told that more money was needed. He then called the utility company, which advised him to call the police.
