Sedona Taphouse Plans Charity Event At Grand Opening In Chantilly

Sedona Taphouse is opening on Monday at the Preserve at Westfields in Chantilly, with a charity event to benefit Westfield High School.

CHANTILLY, VA — Sedona Taphouse is opening on Monday, Nov. 2 at the Preserve at Westfields in Chantilly. The new restaurant will serve hundreds of craft beers, craft cocktails and wines, along with hand-cut steaks and seafood.

On Monday, the restaurant will kick off its grand opening with a charity night starting at 4 p.m. Proceeds from the charity event will go to Westfield High School to purchase virtual learning equipment for students.

The restaurant's operating partner, Mitesh Amin, and its general manager/operating partner, Hoang Nguyen, are both Fairfax County natives.

Beginning Nov. 9, Sedona Taphouse will hold its "Dine Out for Charity" program every Monday where dine-in customers can purchase one of the following dishes for only $9.90: an eight-ounce Black Angus flat iron steak or a grilled chicken entrée, each served with garlic whipped potatoes, or a seven-ounce wood grilled salmon served with a choice of topping and a side. For every "Dine Out" entree sold, $1 will be donated to the featured charity that month.

Local heroes will receive 25 percent off their check for lunch or dinner every Thursday and 15 percent off every other day of the week. The discount is for active or retired military, police, fire fighters, teachers, 911 dispatchers, nurses and EMS.

Sedona Taphouse also will offer customers a variety of special promotions during the week, including a daily happy hour from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring $6 classic craft cocktails, small plates and shareables. On "Wine Down Wednesday," the restaurant will offer half-off bottles of wine — dine in and to go.

The restaurant’s operating hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, with brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
