Be honest… how many spare pairs of headphones do you have lying around? If you’ve upgraded to wireless Airpods or do all your listening with Alexa, you may have no use for those headphones that came free with every new iPhone or on a plane.

Maybe your arts and crafts supplies bought eagerly during the early days of the pandemic are now collecting dust.

And, of course, no one feels great about throwing away an old iPod. After all, the mp3 player was once your most prized possession. But in the age of smartphones, these devices may be sitting in a drawer somewhere, all but forgotten.

If you’re tempted to toss any of the above items during a bout of spring cleaning, think twice. All of those items could be put to better use, gaining a second life serving seniors with memory loss.
