FAIRFAX CITY, VA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Reason for recognition: Since the start of the quarantine in March, Stacie has sewn and sold over 400 masks for adults and kids all over the U.S. Through that, she is saving many lives and stopping the spread of Covid-19.

One thing to know: Stacie has worked tirelessly to find fun and different fabrics to sew masks that show people's different interests and personalities. She is making wearing a mask fun!
