Keeping your grass areas properly managed is vital for public health and safety. Tall grass and weeds can:
- Harbor rodents and vermin
- Create an unpleasant or noxious odor
- Conceal discarded trash

The city has a “tall grass” ordinance (ARTICLE V. - WEEDS AND GRASS), which prohibits grass taller than six inches. The Code Administration Office enforces this ordinance for the health and safety of its citizens.
