Tip Leads To 7-11 Robbery Arrest: Police
The Fairfax City police arrested a Herndon man in connection with the Sunday heist.

FAIRFAX CITY — A Herndon man is behind bars on charges that he robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store last weekend, according to the Fairfax City police. Detectives arrested Alexander Berman, 25, of the 2600 block of Meadow Hall Drive in connection with Sunday's armed robbery, a police report stated.
He's being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on one count of robbery and another for using or displaying a firearm in the commission of a felony, the police said. The detectives identified Berman through a tip from Crime Solvers.
In Sunday's robbery, an individual approached a clerk at the store in the 10900 block of Maple Street, displayed a firearm and demanded cash, the police said. After the clerk handed over the money, the subject fled the scene on foot.
