Tree Lighting, Lunch With Santa Brighten Fairfax City Holidays
The city of Fairfax is holding its Festival of Lights and Carols Saturday afternoon on Dec. 7.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — The city of Fairfax is holding its Festival of Lights and Carols Saturday afternoon on Dec. 7, concluding with its Christmas tree lighting in Old Town Square at 5:30 p.m. The festival will take place in the square at 10415 North Street from noon to 6 p.m. It will feature live holiday music, caroling, s'mores and hot cider.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the city is hosting Lunch with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Old Town Hall, 3999 University Drive. Tickets for the Santa event can be purchased at City Hall at 10455 Armstrong Street, Green Acres at 4401 Sideburn Road and Sherwood Center at 3740 Old Lee Highway.
