VDOT Suspends Highway Work Zones for New Year's
The Virginia Department of Transportation is temporarily suspending most highway work zones from noon Wednesday to noon Friday.
The Virginia Department of Transportation announced Tuesday it will suspend most highway work zones for several days over the New Year’s holiday to to provide as much lane capacity as possible for travelers.
VDOT will lift lane closures on interstates and other major roads in Virginia from noon Wednesday, Dec. 31 to noon Friday, Jan. 2.
