Wind Chill Advisory Begins Saturday Evening
Dangerous cold temperatures and biting winds expected overnight, according to the National Weather Service.

A wind chill advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.
Wind chills, or the “feels like” temperature, will be up to 5 degrees below zero, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts will be 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
Temperatures will begin falling into the single digests tonight. Wind chills are already in the single digits for most of the region.

Below zero wind chills could extend past sunrise Sunday morning.
Frostbite and hypothermia area possible if precautions are not taken. If you must go outside, make sure to wear a hat and gloves, according to the weather service.
